Now logging my second major disappointment with this purchase. Went from a Charge 2 to a Charge 4, it was supposed to work while swimming but it died in month 13 of ownership. Received a 'discount' to purchase a new Charge 5. Then find out they don't track steps. NOW, it's not tracking sleep hours. Which means the new feature of 'Readiness Score' isn't working, with a message of 'Please wear your device' !!!?!?!?!?!. Sleep tracker section reads 'Wear your Fitbit to bed'. Duh, I did. And health metrics? Yeah, no scores because there's no data from last night. I've gone through the resetting steps for the device, etc. Just getting so frustrated with a shoddy product. Fitbit should be recalling all Charge 5s. Give me back a Charge 4 for free, seeing as it failed after I used it doing something it was supposed to do!

Totally agree - I am on my 4th or fifth charge 5 in less than 12 months - this one I was super careful with but it just stopped. Old 2 lasted forever.

First one died within 6 months, just totally went black, no lights, etc. Got a replacement which is now having issues with detecting my heart rate and the battery is draining within 24 hours. Just bought a new band because the original irritates my wrist, and now the watch won’t work correctly. Plus the kicker is I bought it less than a year ago and didn’t start wearing it until December. Makes me think that my next fitness tracker will not be a Fitbit. I had no issues with my Inspire HR, it was still working fine when I switched to the Charge 5.
