My daughter bought me a Charge 5 for Christmas. I opened it on December 23 and that evening a white "X" in a red circle appeared on the screen. My daughter reset it, synced it and had it working again and the "X" appeared a few hours later. This has occurred four times now in four days. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm sorry to hear about your problem.
I don't know how to fix it, or what's causing it, but here are a couple of suggestions.
You can always try restarting it to see if that can help.
You can do that directly on the Charge 5. Scroll down from the Clock Face until you reach Settings, tap, then scroll up until you get to Restart Device and follow the instructions.
If you can't do it from the Charge 5 itself, you can also do it by putting it on the charger and pressing the button 3 times.
It is also a good idea to check for updates for both the App and the Fitbit itself.
If you have an Android phone, try clearing your cache for the App.
If none of these things help, it might be worth contacting Support to get advice.
If you scroll down to the bottom of the page here, and click on Help, then Get Support, then Live Chat, that would probably be the easiest way to contact them.
You can also change the country at the bottom of the screen if you need to.
