I am appaled by fitbit quality.
My current problem is that my fitbit charge 5 is stuck in a reebot loop. It started last night right after I stopped tracking a run, the fitbit logo appeared. My first thought was that it ran out of battery, but I charged it to a 100% earlier that day.
Since yesterday I have tried re-installing the app, rebooting my phone, re-booting the device with the button on the charging cable and got enough seconds where it didn't so I could try to reboot it from the settings.
Nothing worked, and over night the battery drained down to 4% and when I try to charge it it's stuck in the reebot loop.

I started with fitbit in 2017 and have been very happy with the device and app, until the update of the app last year...
How do I even go forward from this? The company seems like it doesn't give a flying **ahem** about the quality of the product and only anwseres in generic **ahem**-talk when confronted with it from users.
So my question- should my nect device be Garmin or Polar?
Best AnswerHi, Did you get feed back on stability of Charge 6 or Inspire 3. Even, i want to share my charge4 device exactly after one year the display went completely blank, but the device works. Really dont know what to do now
Best AnswerI would say go for it, if you are on your 4th device in 3 years. My first Fitbit was 2016 with the charge 2, which I used for 7 years before i got the charge 5. And that stopped working only after 13 months. I am not keen on smartwatches, so I probably would go with garmin as that brand still offers trackers (vivosmart). But to each their own.
