Hi,
This afternoon I realized my tracker wasn't syncing with the app. I restarted my Fitbit by going to settings -restart. Immediately the battery went from 88% to 0%. All my data from the day seems to also have disappeared as the app is now reporting zero steps. When I selected restart, it said no data would be lost. What did I do wrong? And why does restarting the tracker drain the battery completely?

Hi, thank you for all the information provided about these issues with your Charge 5, @Luvzwalks.
Your information should not be lost when you complete a restart, and your battery should not drain either. Before considering other options, let me know if when you restarted the device, you used the option "Restart device" or "Clear user data". The former is a regular restart procedure and the latter is a factory reset and erases all data.
Let me know if the issue with the battery draining continues or of it happened only after the reset you mentioned.
