Charge 5 return process is taking too long

Ok, a year ago I purchased one.  It worked fine for about a month then I had to keep recharging it every day - and yes, I tried reducing the drain.  A customer support person was able to access my charging dilemma online and authorized a return.  Fitbit uses a weird FedEx/USPS service for returns (to Calexico, CA) and my device travelled all over the western US before it disappeared.  Fitbit was very hesitant to send me a new one- finally after about a month of **ahem**ing, they did.  Then, within a month or two, the second one started heating up really bad, I could feel the heat on my wrist - Fitbit was quick to offer a replacement and, the return (same service) to Calexico went fine.  The third one (remember this is within one year) worked for about a week then I got the Big X with the red circle around it - and it wouldn't charge at all.  Forgot to add that Fitbit makes you jump through a bunch of hoops for a return.  Take a picture of the big X, make sure there is a handwritten note with number xxxx in the picture, take a picture of the charging cable showing the fitbit logo, etc.  So I did all that and returned it on 9/29/22 again with the FedEx/USPS label they provided.  I took it right to the Fed Ex place too.  Well, it has now gone from Oceanside, CA to Phoenix, AZ to N. Salt Lake, UT and back to Phoenix.  Did I add that Calexico is only 170 miles from Oceanside?  And, of course, Fitbit won't send a new one until the broken one is received.  This is Fitbits fault by using the crappy FedEx/USPS system - Apparently the system doesn't know where Calexico, CA is and Fitbit is saving a few bucks by using the hybrid mailing system!  And, as far as I'm concerned, the charge 5 is a **ahem**!  10/5/22 It says on the FedEx site that it will be delivered tomorrow - I am not holding my breath!  I'm thinking San Francisco is a nice place for it to visit next!  Don't get one.
