Charge 5 screen blacked out despite reboot & changing clock screen

Hi all, the screen on my charge 5 is continously black. I've tried rebooting several times by using the button on the charge cable as directed. Ive also tried changing the clock face. Ive re-started my phone, turned Bluetooth off & on etc. It is charging & syncing but I can't see anything on the screen.  Can you help?

Hi and welcome @SaoirseNi 

Sorry to see that your Charge 5 is not working properly. Since you've already done all the troubleshooting tips, I suggest you contact Fitbit support. They will have you repeat the troubleshooting procedures that you've already done. Once they confirm that none of the procedures returns your device back to normal operation and if your Charge 5 is still in warranty, they should send you an offer to replace the tracker/pebble or a discount on a different device. If your Charge 5 is out of warranty, they should offer a discount on a replacement. Note: the discount is on the full price, even if the device is on sale in the Fitbit store.

PS: This is what I had to do when I had the same issue with my Charge 5. Thankfully, my replacement Charge 5 is working fine.
