I have been a Fitbit user since 2017 but the charge 5 has been the least reliable. Now every time my alarm goes off my watch face goes black and the only way to get it back is via the charging cable and a reset. Which is a nightmare if you are out and about. So disappointed with Fitbit. It seems 18 months after you buy one they go faulty.

I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not turning on. I appreciate all the information provided.
In this case, I ask that you try changing the clock face from your Fitbit app and verify that your Fitbit is charged with a UL-certified adapter or connected to a computer.
I understand you've already restarted your Charge 5 several times. Please try this other type of restart:

We have tried all possible steps through this channel to try to resolve this issue. My best suggestion is that you contact technical support directly, as they have more tools to provide you with the appropriate follow-up.
