Charge 5 screen is acting odd

My FitBit Charge 5 has been very leggy over the past few days. I can barely swipe through the various functions on the watch. I've tried a restart on the device and through the USB, but still no luck. Any idea what can be done at this point?

Hi there, @AishV. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 screen is still acting odd. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Since the restart hasn't worked, I
'd recommend performing a factory reset on your Charge 5. Important: Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

With the above being said, please sync your Charge 5 and then, proceed with the steps below in the order listed:

  1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app.
  2. On your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > Device Info > Clear User Data

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that How do I set up my Fit-bit device?

And if the screen is black but still syncing and vibrating, what is the fix? This device is a replacement from Fitbit for a previously faulty device.

Hi there, @NunyaBidnesz. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Fitbit device.

If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:

  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  2. Tap your Fitbit device image.
  3. Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.

If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

I tried your suggestion, but it's still having issues with lagging. Sometimes I can't even select an option like "clear" when reading messages since it won't let me scroll down on the screen. Any other solutions?

Hey @MarreFitbit - now my FitBit screen is just going white. It's completely blank! Is there any fix to this or has my FitBit just died?
