Charge 5 screen is black but still tracks everything

I just got my new charge 5 and it immediately updated itself. However , when it did I have a totally black screen. It is tracking on my phone but nothing on the watch. I have tried to reset it with the button on the charger but nothing is happening . Ready to ship it back!
