Charge 5 screen is dead and won't restart

I see a lot of people have this issue or similar but I think this is a record. My Charge 5 has been working 3 days and the screen died. I tried reset by pressing button on charger 3 times. It vibrates but doesn't do anything else. I had charge 4 previously which was working great until the battery started draining rapidly a month ago. I thought charge 5 would be an improvement but it's even worse.

Has anyone found a solution for this?

And before you say try to wipe down contacts or anything like that, I want to repeat - it's been working for 3 days before this happened.

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @halkiona

Thank you for sharing that you've been having this inconvenience with your Charge 5 and for confirming that you already tried the restart procedure.

In addition to the three pulse restart you mentioned, please try changing the clock face as well and check if you're able to see anything on the display, as this has been useful for other users as well.

I'll be around.

No, it can't sync and there is absolutely nothing on the screen. I tried changing clock face yesterday and sync it but no joy. Then I removed it from the app and tried to add it again. Nothing happens. It's just spinning. I have Google pixel 6 if that helps. Fitbit is dead and every time I reset it, it just vibrates once and it's still black.
