Charge 5 screen is unresponsive when not plugged in

Hi - I have a Charge 5. The screen is completely unresponsive when not plugged into the charging cable. The battery reports 100% charge. I performed a reset and this did not fix it. Brightness is set to normal / Screen Time Out is set to Default / Always On Display settings don't seem to change anything. 

Can anyone help me?
