The battery was low. I put it on the charge. It had the fitbit logo on and off and now only the red circle with X. I tried all the restart steps that I read here. Still no response, stuck on the X. I bought it 1 year ago. This is unacceptable!!! I reassociated my account. Nothing. I had my previous watch for 6 years....not a happy customer 😡😡😡.

I am having this issue too. The Charge 5 is just 15 months old. On charge it is intermittently vibrating and I am unable to do a reset or a factory reset because it won’t stay on long enough. When it stops the vibrating (switching on and off) it shows the red circle with an X.

Unfortunately looks like many of us were sold faulty products. 12 to 15months of shellife is unacceptable and fitbit should do something about it. 😡
