Charge 5 screen suddenly lit up (edit/update: screen is now black)

Suddenly, the screen went bright. The usual screens are still there but are barely readable. Let’s see if this photo will upload….

It is still functioning — counting steps, etc. — but the screen isn’t usable.

UPDATE: Screen just went black. Occasionally the old screen flashes and then disappears.

I saw another "blank screen" thread and the fix involves updating the device, but I don't have any updates available....
