Charge 5 screen went black

Hello

My fitbit started having battery problems a couple of days ago.

It would use all the battery in just one day.

I did the reset by pressing the charger button 3 times and even restarting from the device itself and it worked for a couple of days.

Yesterday the screen went completely black. At first I thought it was battery problems again but the device vibrates with exercise and when connecting to the fitbit app.

I tried the reset with the cable pressing the button 3 times for at least 6 times and nothing. Completely black even though the device vibrates. It doesn't even show the fitbit logo.

It is still connected with the app. I read some old posts and tried changing the clock faces and so on but nothing shows on the screen. The device has full battery and up to yesterday it was working fine.

Is there anything else I can try? I'm desperate for answers...

Edit subject: the battery is charging, the device is counting steps. The screen is black and doesn't work even after reset or changing clock faces.

Not sure if to say problem solved.

Contacted support and followed their indications and there was nothing to be done.

They were really friendly but my device wasn't under guarantee anymore so I got a 35% discount on a new device.

I had it for a couple of years so I guess it somehow was expected to have problems soon.
