Charge 5 shut off for no reason

I have a Fitbit charge five. For no reason, the screen goes blank, and it shuts off. Thinking it was dead, I charged it. When it turned on, it still said 95%. Does anybody know why this shut off for no reason. Even when double tapping the screen, it does not come on. I think it is a year and a half old

Same thing happened to me this morning.  It seems like this has been going on for a few weeks and support won't give any answers. Mine was purchased late August of 2022 and I take great care of it.  Really disappointed.

My Charge 5 has started doing this over the past few days. Looks as if battery has died, then shows random charge % over several minutes when plugged in to charge. 95% or 53% sometimes 4% within 15minutes.

It is just 2yrs old - very frustrating.

Reported the problem to Fitbit and had my device replaced immediately. I believe this was an issue they couldn’t rectify.

OK, thank you. Do you have any contact information, for Fitbit to report this issue?
