Charge 5 turns itself off when the battery gets down below 20% and is unresponsive to any taps. I then have to recharge it. Any exercise program I am in the middle of stops responding. The exercise I was doing does not get recorded in the Fitbit app.

Is there any chance you could actually look into the issue instead of just posting the same generic response to everyone? Surely there’s an issue your end as many charge 5 users are suddenly complaining about the EXACT SAME ISSUE!
