Charge 5 sleep mode battery drain?

I picked up a Charge 5 a few days ago, and I set up a schedule to turn on sleep mode. For whatever reason, the battery is draining much faster with this active. For instance, I went to sleep last night with the battery at 84%, and after 6.5 hours of sleep, I woke up to the battery at 56%. This is significantly worse performance than when I sleep without activating sleep mode. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have had my Charge 5 for a week and the battery doesn’t even make it thru the day! Was trying to return it under warranty for a replacement but the process is so difficult! The user comments about it taking months to ship something back and no follow up from customer service are quite concerning!
