Charge 5 started draining battery in a day, still on 188 firmware

I'm not sure what happened but my Charge 5 was working fine and now it's going through it's battery life at like 5% per hour. Prior to this I had a week of battery life consistently.ive had no updates or changes to settings.

Any fix to this or is this just the beginning of the end?

It might be a bad sign, but you might like to check out why my Fitbit device's battery is not charging. - Fitbit Help Center If less than two years look at What's Fitbit's return and warranty policy? - Fitbit Help Center. If you think you have the benefit of the warranty contact "Customer Support".

Hi, @SunsetRunner , thanks for the feedback, have you been using GPS set on built-in, this is a well-known juice guzzler How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device? - Fitbit Help Center My advice is to use the phone's GPS, a much larger battery & antenna. If you have "Snore report" working this will also drain the battery as the microphone is on all night. How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? - Fitbit Help Center explains.

Gps is Mobile. Found post about firmware. Looks like I am one of the persons with a useless product after 14 months of good product killed by firmware upgrade after “google service”. Will call customer support on monday,

unfortunatyy I now really need a heartrate monitor because I was in hospital 4 weeks ago with heart attack. Is that not ironic?
