With the exception of 1 day, since May 7 my Charge 5 stopped calculating sleep details. Instead it only shows Restless time (see screenshot), and inaccurately calculates total time asleep.
My heart rate is still being logged overnight (see screenshot).
The following did not help/work:
* Rebooting
* Charging it fully
* adjusting the tightness/looseness fit of the band at night.
FWIW, this sounds similar to the issue in this post: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-4/Charge-4-not-recording-sleep-detail/m-p/5064164

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @fitswarlybit.
Thank you for sharing this information about the issue you've been experiencing with the new Charge 5 and the troubleshooting steps that you already tried.
Before considering other options, please make sure the restart procedure is the three pulse restart method described here below and not the restart option available on the device's settings:
Keep in mind that there are some factors that may prevent your tracker from recording your sleep. Please make sure of the following:
In addition, please wear your device on your non-dominant hand and monitor it for the next few days. In the meantime, for the nights that don't have sleep data, you can manually log your sleep by going to the Fitbit app, tapping on the "+" icon next to the sleep tile > Add Sleep Log and entering your details.
Some users have also been able to resolve by changing the clock face option on the device.
Hope this helps, I'll be around.

Davide - thanks for the quick reply.
I have rebooted the device a number of times with both methods.
No offense to you, but the idea that my sleep position dramatically changed one day and now the Fitbit can't get a consistent heart-rate makes little sense to me. It has been tracking my sleep without an issue nightly since Nov until a few weeks ago, when it stopped.
Logging my sleep manually also obviates why I spent extra money to get a Fitbit device that tracks sleep automatically, not to mention the additional fee I'm paying for the Premium service to get additional sleep details.
If changing the clock face is the answer, then Fitbit definitely has some serious work to do on their software! But since I'm out of any other options, I will test it tonight!
Best regards,
