My charge 5 has stopped recording sleep and heart rate. The app is up to date. I never had a problem with my charge 2, only had the 5 for a few weeks, worked fine but now has stopped recording the info.

Hi, @Caeti22 , are the green lights flashing on your Charge 5?
Olease check to see if the HR function may have been accidentally turned off. To access the HR settings please swipe down on the Charge 5 until you come to the settings menu. Tap to open and then swipe up to find heartrate. Make sure that it is turned ON. If it is on, but the green lights still aren’t working, please tap to turn off, wait a moment, and then turn back on. Hopefully that will get them going again.
It would also be helpful to give your Charge 5 a restart. Instructions are here . You may need to repeat the restart once or twice more as a single restart does not always work.
Once the HR feature is solved you should be able to get your sleep results. The Fitbit needs consistent heartrate readings in order to record your sleep.
If none of these steps solves your problem you may need to get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on Contact.Fitbit.com . Be sure to let them know that you have already tried the trouble shooting steps I have outlined here, as that will save time.
