Charge 5 stopped showing distance

Read the posts about Charge 5 not showing distance..back as far as July. Mine stopped a few weeks ago and only shows distance on the watch if I set an activity using gps. It shows distance on app when I synch but not on watch,  Tried the fixes suggested and nothing helped.  Is Fitbit still going to fix this?

As far as I know, they are still working on finding the cause of the problem and fixing it for all Fitbit devices.

Although it seems like a small consolation, the fact that you see distance in the app means that your data is being uploaded to your account on the Fitbit servers. So, there's no loss of your data.

Thank you. Funny later today it started showing distance again so maybe they did fix it. Fingers crossed!
