Been back to using my Charge 5 (from brand x) for 3 days now. Each morning it would nicely show a sleep graph. Now, last 2 days, no graph. If I go to the app and step back a couple days, it shows a graph. But for last 2 days it does not - just get "10h 11m of 7h goal / Bedtime 1:07AM / Wake up 11:18 AM". Yesterday it also gave longest sleep 6h 21m, but not today. I had heart monitor turned off in watch and have turned it on to see if that will make a difference. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello @Kris227
When you turn off Heart rate on your Charge 5, you effectively disable sleep tracking. Sleep tracking uses the optical heart rate sensor (green light on the back of your Charge 5) for various sleep & health metrics. Now that you've turned Heart rate back on your Charge 5, you should see your sleep data again.
The other important thing to remember is to let your Charge 5 automatically detect your sleep and not manually start your sleep, so that you will get your sleep tracking, especially sleep stages.

You definitely are not going to get sleep stages and sleep score with heart rate turned off.

Huge thanks to both of you! Interestingly the heart monitor was turned off the whole time because I thought that was the problem with my previous (brand x) watch (I was feeling very "off" while wearing it). So far no apparent prob with the Fitbit heart monitor turned on so we'll see. I believe I am letting it automatically detect sleep since I do nothing with the sleep setting on the watch. Is that right?
Again, THANKS!!!

Hello @Kris227
As long as you don't tap Sleep mode tile on your Charge 5 to start & end your sleep, your device should automatically track your sleep. 👍
