Charge 5 stopped synching, then erased all the data from today and wiped out the battery!

My Charge 5 wasn't synching this morning, so I rebooted it. Rebooting it wiped out the battery (it wasn't even low!) as well as all the data from this morning. Thank you, Google, for killing what used to be a decent product.

Oh, please, I've gone through those steps! Now the Charge 5 is not even tracking my steps and I can't reboot at all anymore for some reason.

Ever since Google bought FitBit, the product function has taken a serious dive. I cannot in good faith ever recommend FitBit products anymore. In fact, I can tell people they will likely regret investing in a FitBit product, like so many others on this community board.
