Charge 5 not syncing sleep or health data for 2 days... again. Why does this keep happening randomly?

Hi there, @CAD202. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not tracking your health metrics data. I understand where your concern is coming from. I will do my best to help you!
Please keep in mind the following to make sure you see your health metrics data:
For more detailed information, see What should I know about health metrics in the Fitbit app?

I'm having the same issue the past 2 days. Can't seem to find in the app or device how to sort it?

Likewise… no data other than steps and calories. I WAS using my iPad with the app but it was GLACIAL to sync in the mornings (compared with my girlfriend on her iPhone). So I decided to switch over to my iPhone (newer unit, newer O.S. Able to use a newer version of the Fitbit app). THAT was a mistake. Syncs WAY faster in the morning… but possibly because it’s transferring NO DATA. Went back to my iPad… syncing with it gained NOTHING. Going to do a fresh sync tomorrow morning and I’ll report back. Right now though… not impressed.

I am having an issue with the Breathing Rate monitor not registering in my app, all other stats are working fine.

I have same issue, last synch 5.30am on Thursday. There is an exclamation mark by the synch button on the app. This sounds like a wider issue Fitbit?

Update… being an electronic specialist… my troubleshooting skills kicked in. Don’t always believe what you see. After a strenuous workout… I got ZERO Zone Minutes… and realized my heart rate was also zero. Checked the heart rate on/off option in settings and it was On (as it should/needs to be). Turned it off… then back on. Sure enough… the LED lit up… and I started to get readings. After a walk this afternoon… I got a Zone minute score. Next test… do I get a sleep score tonight? Once again I’ll follow up tomorrow. Try turning “Heart Rate” off and back on… and see if it helps. No guarantee… but takes a mere minute to try. Cheers… Dean

My charge 5 also stop recording data 2 days ago. No sleep, no heart rate, etc.

Same here. I keep adjusting all setting and wearing throughout the day to no avail. Will you please advise Fitbit? Thanks in advance.

2nd Update… Success… I got a detailed Sleep score and health metrics this morning. In my case turning the “Heart Rate” off and then on in the “Settings” section of my Charge 5 fixed the problem. Sadly that may NOT be the solution for everybody… but hopefully it will help some of you. Best of luck… Dean.

Ditto. Noticed a few weeks ago the app has much fewer steps than the watch when I go to bed. When I try to refresh the app simply stays stuck on some earlier number. Device itself no longer shows sleep score. And yes I deleted app and reloaded and that changed nothing. The dashboard at Fitbit.com also shows wrong/ different numbers. Another epic fail by Google!

Same issue here, mine has stopped syncing since 2 days as well. Unsure what the issue is, but it stops syncing halfway through the process.
Feels there is an wider issue.

My Fitbit is not syncing at all. I have gone thru all the steps and it is just stuck on 19 steps and no other data. This happens far too often.
