I have a charge 5. Three weeks ago it stopped tracking sleep, breathing, heart rate variance. I've done everything that I've found on the help files and forums, restarted, updated software, unlinked and re linked, changed strap, worn in different places on both arms, cleaned, cleared cache, still not working. It's oy a year old

Sad to hear that your're having issues with your Charge 5. Thanks for having taken the time trying to get things by yourself.
Considering that you seem to have tried all the useful stuff to get Charge 5 back to working order, I'd suggest to contact Fitbit support fur further assistance to save you further inconvenience :
