Very much a bummer in regards to my work out later today

Hi there, @hollond35. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 5 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.

While reading your post I was wondering if your Charge 5 is properly linked to your Fitbit account and syncing fine? To make sure your watch has recently synced, go to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.

If your Charge 5 is not linked, that would explain why it's not tracking your data.
