Hi, @Ordacious01 , are the green lights on the back of the Fitbit flashing? Have you checked whether heart rate detection has been accidentally turned off? I am assuming you have a Fitbit Charge 5 as that is the forum you have posted in. On the Charge 5 swipe down until you come to the settings menu and tap to open. Swipe up to find Heart rate and make sure it is set to ON (button will be on the right and blue to indicate ON).
If it is ON but you are not getting heart rate readings, I would recommend toggling heart rate to OFF, waiting a moment and then toggling it to ON again. I would also recommend giving your Fitbit a Restart .
I hope this solves your issue. Welcome to the forums!

Hello & welcome @Ordacious01
Please make sure that you are accessing Settings on the Charge 5 Fitbit itself and not in the Fitbit app. Settings is the last tile you see when you swipe down from the clock face. Heart Rate should be the 3rd one you see when you tap on Settings on your Charge 5 and swipe up.
There are 2 ways to restart your Charge 5: 1) from the Settings menu on your Charge 5 and 2) using the charging cable that came with your Charge 5. Click on this link for instructions on: How to restart the Charge 5
If you use the charging cable to restart your Charge 5, make sure it is plugged in to a power source.
If you are still having trouble, please let us know.
