I had this Fitbit charge 5 for about a year. It was was working perfectly, and suddenly last week it stopped working. It had black screen, vibrated continuously until its charge ran out. I tried to restart it and charge it, but it would show its charging for a few seconds, and then black screen again. I tried every tips from the community and from fitbit support, but no success.
I had taken good care of it, never had swim with it, not during taking bath, never put water or submerged it. Occasionally few drops or few splashes of water while hand washing, and that it, and even I would wipe it off immediately.
Since there is no fixing it, fitbit/google has agreed to replace it. And I hope the replacement wont have any problems.
