Charge 5 stopped working

So I see the Charge 5s are still just dying for no reason. Has Fitbit given any reason or are they still acting like nothing is wrong .

Hi there, @jwilliamsr90. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 stopped working. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, I'd like to know what the issue is. Is your Charge 5 not syncing, not charging? Have you tried charging it? Sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working.  Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging. For more information, see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

It can take more than 10-15 mins to go from 99% to 100%. Personally, I never tend to charge my electronic devices to 100%, I've learned that the best way I can preserve the battery life is when I charge them to 80%. I charge them when the battery is at 20% then wait until it's at 80%.

If the above doesn't describe your issue, please share with me more details of the issue to address it properly. Also, let me know if by any chance you've already tried some troubleshooting steps to rectify the issue.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
