My charge 5 occasionally (2-3 times a week) stops recording sleep data from between 2-4am when I am clearly asleep and doesn’t re-start recording. Never had an issue with previous fitbits. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Are you wearing the device loosely on your wrist?
Have you tried wearing it a little further up on your wrist, 1-2 fingers up from the bone?

I never change how tight I wear it and because my issue is not constant I don’t think that is the problem but thanks for your thoughts

I am having the same issue. I've been wearing a fitbit to bed for years and never had an issue. I wear it snugly on my wrist as instructed. Last night it stopped recording at 12:20am and never recorded anything after that.

Does anyone from Fitbit monitor the problems on here? I’m wondering how I can resolve this issue because I no longer trust my Fitbit to do what I bought it for. I have had various different models for years and I am losing faith in them now
