Charge 5 stuck on Fitbit logo and it won't charge

I am writing to report an issue with my Charge 5 device. It stopped working on February 27th of this year. After the battery ran out, I charged it a day or two later, but it began vibrating constantly, and the blue logo kept blinking. I tried restarting it several times by plugging it in(clicked on physical button 3 times), but nothing changed.

I have not used the device for the past five months and have since purchased an Apple Watch, which works fantastically with my iPhone. However, I am curious about why this issue occurred and why many others seem to be experiencing similar problems.

I would like to request assistance in fixing this device. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, @Ra1to. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is still unresponsive. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working.  Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.

When it has had two hours, try restarting your Charge 5. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.

If the above doesn't work, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
