My Fitbit stopped syncing yesterday and is now stuck on the red circle white cross. I've tried the 4 points from other posts (including reset from the charger and changing the clock face) but nothing worked.
Do I have to throw away my Fitbit or is there a fix?

Hi, @FExx if the suggestions provided don’t work I would suggest letting the battery on your Fitbit die completely and then try the sync now/ reset again and also check for an update. The icon you are seeing indicates either an update hitch/failure or a sync issue.

Thank you for responding Julia. It's good to know someone actually reads these posts. I left the Fitbit alone so the battery would drain and then plugged it and reset it. They're want an update available. It eventually charged overnight and showed 100% but then died again with a black screen after a few hours. I tried this twice. It has not recharged again after I left it overnight and the reset fails to revive it and I don't see the red X anymore. Is there any hope for my Fitbit or has the battery failed or something else?
Thanks
