Charge 5 stuck on a red "X"

Hi there, @FionF. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5 and the image attached. 

If you haven't done so yet, please restart your Charge 5 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face. 

If the above doesn't work, please attempt the following:

1. Remove the Charge 5 from your phone's Bluetooth settings and in the Fitbit app.
2. Restart your Charge 5.
3. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
4. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
5. Set up your Charge 5.
