Charge 5 stuck on blue logo after recent firmware update

During or post firmware update my Charge 5 is stuck on the blue logo. There is no way to swipe or access info on the device. I review the "Charge 5 stuck on Fitbit logo" community post. Followed instructions. Still stuck on logo.

In addition, phone app does a Bluetooth search and cannot find the Charge 5.

Unfortunately, your Charge 5 has probably been bricked by the recent firmware update. Read through the posts on this forum; there’s little, if anything you can do. Try contacting support via “X” (formerly Twitter) and see if they can help, but don’t hold your breath.IMG_3747.jpeg

Contact customer support. You don't have to go through X/Twitter. Just use the official support page.

Except they never respond on that page….or, at least, they weren’t doing so a week ago when I tried to raise someone there and never got a response….but going through Twitter I got someone right away.

Update: I completed a chat session based on the suggestion from UlrikeDG ==> "Just use the official support page", thank you. They weren't able to fix the problem nor tell me if can be fixed. They'll forward it on the warranty, but they did alert me that the device is out of warranty so cannot be replaced. BUT WAIT ... the recent firmware update caused the problem, which doesn't seem right or responsible from a company like FitBit. They very likely lost a customer! On the bright side ==> If anyone is in the market for a Charge 5 that is stuck on the blue logo, hit me up! Thanks for all the suggestions on this thread.

Fitbit just lost a costomer. I will never buy another one of their products

Firmware Update for Charge 5 8/17/23 @ 2:30 AM totally fried my Fitbit Charge 5. Full charge drains in minutes.

Screen shows time but I can't swipe in any direction. Tried all of the resets with customer service rep. They did not work at all.

No further response as promised from customer support.

Such a shame.

Nightmare! Mine is also stuck on the logo and also out of warranty. Very disappointing. Def won't be purchasing another Fitbit if that's their answer.
