Hi all,
Just wanted to see if anyone else is having battery issues suddenly with their charge 5? Mine was working fine but then a few weeks ago it started acting a bit strange and then started loosing 50% of it's charge overnight. I did not damage the watch and had been using it normally just as I always do.
Wanted to know if this was a firmware issue or specific to my watch?
Thanks!

Yes, I've been having the same issue. It started the other day. The battery won't even last 2 hours.
I've tried all trouble shooting I can find on the website (restarting the device, disabling and re-enabling Bluetooth, unpairing and re-pairing the device) with no luck.
Contacted support and all they did was apologize and tell me to try restarting the device.
Paying for premium and can't even use the device or get decent customer support.
Good to know I'm not the only one with this battery issue.

I've had similar problems for months. Contacting support is a waste of time. They'll tell you to do the restart procedure with the charge cord. Then they'll tell you to try changing the clock face. Then they'll just give up and, if you're lucky, offer you a discount on a new product. Read through all the forums here and it's clear that there's a significant issue with the Charge 5 that was introduced by firmware, but they're not going to own up to it or do anything about it.

Very frustrating and the restart does nothing, already tried that. My charge 5 is < 7 months old, I was hoping that I could return it under warranty ( though that seems an impossible series of loops.

Mine also started doing this just a day or two ago. Have tried everything to reset and update, no luck. Lots of information online about Fitbit products. After seeing this firsthand and reading more about it Fitbit won’t be getting another cent of my money in the future!
