Hey there,
I recently changed the pool length on my Charge 5 as I was swimming at my local outdoor pool which is much larger than the indoor.
When I looked at the results afterwards on my phone, it was acknowledging the new 90m pool length…. However it was still calculating it as 25m. So…
I swam 8 lengths at 90m. So 720m swim.
However my app said I did 29 lengths and therefore calculated a 2639m swim!!! Which in just over 30 mins puts me in the Elite territory - trust me, I’m not. 😀
If you do 29 (lengths) x 25 (meters - the old pool distance) you get the correct distance. However the app and the charge 5 are both saying that the pool distance is 90. So there seems to be some kind of internal calculation still fixed on 25m.
Any ideas gratefully received.
Thank you!

I should add that as a result of this glitch it returns very elevated calorie and zone minute calculations for my workout.
Considering I’m trying to lose weight and keeping an eye on calories I burn etc… this is quite frustrating.
It’s also bizarre that zone minutes are being calculated considering I thought the HR monitor is turned off for swims? Is this a glitch too or does Fitbit make a guesstimate based on the distance/ time I swim. Either way…. Still elevated and inaccurate.

Following this up with this morning’s swim. Still causing problems. Charge 5 also saying 91m. I did 8 lengths not 23 so this throws everything wildly out of whack and makes me look like I should be in training for the Olympics!
Can anyone from the @Fitbit Moderator team shed any light please.
