Was out in Malaysia recently for six weeks and had no problems having local time set. However when I came home was awkward to change time zone. Managed to do so but every now and again Charge 5 reverts to Malaysia time.
Why? Phone synched with is set to GMT and laptop.
This is very frustrating!!

Are you sure that your Fitbit account (not your phone, your Fitbit account) is set to "Automatic Time Zone"?

Good to see your participating in the community @AndyMiddleton.
Thanks for letting us know about the inconvenience with your Charge 5.
Thanks @DramaQueenDiva for your help.
If you are still experiencing this issue, you may need to adjust the setting on the web based program rather than in the app. To do this, while you are logged in to the Community, click on “Dashboard” on the top right hand side of each page. From the dashboard click on the right hand side on the gear icon to go to the settings section. There scroll down to timezone and set it correctly there.
