Charge 5: unresponsive and batterydied at 50%

I had two main problems on my charge 5:

  1. Unresponsive touch: even if I restart my fitbit, touch remains unresponsive
  2. Battery life: when battery is between 30% and 50% screen becomes black and fitbit dies. In earlier months charging time was about 2.5h. Now in 1h charge is complete, but it seems not working.

Have you tried restarting your Charge 5 using the button on the plug of it's charging cable?

If not, try that:

- Connect the charging cable to a USB power source.
- Connect your Charge 5 to the power cable.
- Press the button on the plug of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds while holding it for 1 second every time.

After that, the Fitbit logo should appear on your Charge 5 display.
