I've been using a Charge 5 since last summer. I use it for fitness and sleep tracking only on my right wrist as I always wear a mechanical watch on my left (except when actually exercising)
I recently tried using it during Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes and it works pretty well to track my heartrate and is small enough to not be in the way. But during class the other day it just stopped working. I got the fitbit logo on the screen and then nothing, until later that evening it started vibrating non stop until the battery ran out.
Now I have a new Charge 5 as a warranty replacement but I'm wondering if I should try a different tracker.
Ideally it should be smaller and sturdier than the Charge 5, I don't care about smartwatch features like notifications.
I've seen the Garmin Vivosmart 5 which seems similar to the Charge 5. Is they any good? Any others I should look at?
