My Fitbit Charge 5 watch face has suddenly fallen out of the casing! It is attached by an electronic lead of some sort but us now just hanging!
it is still connected, this occurred for absolutely no reason at all and has not happened with any Fitbit I have had before! What do I do?

Not replying, just me again to state that the tracker is less than 6 months old: have had it since 17th Dec 2021 only!

I would either take it back to the shop you bought it from or, if you bought it from Fitbit, contact their Support. In fact, you should send the picture to Support anyway.
You can contact them by selecting Help at the bottom of the page, then Get Support, then Live Chat (you could attach your picture then).
I hope you get a new one quickly!
