Charge 5 water exposure & now doesn’t work

I went for a short & swallow swim (i.e., <1 meter depth) w/ my Charge5 & now the screen is black & it won't charge. I purchased the watch in March 2023. This appears to be a malfunction of the watch’s waterproof capability. How to get the watch repaired or replaced?
