My Charge 5 went black even though it has at least 50% battery. Put on charger and reset the tracker by pressing the charger three times. Now charger is just flashing the Fitbit logo and won't stop and when I put it on the charger it gets hot.

Thank you for sharing that you've having this inconvenience with your Charge 5 device and that you already tried the restart procedure. 

I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this and it seems they've shared some instructions with you. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed.
