Charge 5 will not change steps and mileage

Fitbit will change date and time .  But will not change steps and mileage  (ie it does not zero each morning)

Thanks for sharing this information about the issue you're experiencing with your Charge 5. 

 

I've seen other users experiencing something similar in the past, but this should be resolved by completing the restart procedure. If you haven't done so already, please complete a three pulse restart using the charging cable, instead of the restart option on the device' settings: 

 

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times within 8 seconds, holding each press for about 1 second.
  3. Wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
  4. If the device doesn’t restart, wait 15 seconds to try again.

In addition, please make sure the time zone settings are correct in your account.
