Purchased Fitbit off Amazon March. It was making weird noises when I put it on charger for the past couple of months. It will not charge or turn on or anything now. I called support and they will not do anything for me, saying it was a third party that was selling it on Amazon. Very disappointed with how they handled my claim. Spent a lot of money for something to only last less than a year.

Hi @AmandaLarson75 When purchasing from Amazon, be sure an item is sold and shipped by Amazon - that way it should be covered in case of a problem. Many third party retailers, even individuals, sell on Amazon and they aren't authorized resellers of Fitbit products. That won't help you now, but here is something that just might help you. If you paid by credit card, check and see if they have insurance on your purchases. Sometimes they can help you get a replacement or refund for an item. A few have posted on these forums that is what they were able to do when their Amazon purchase wasn't under a Fitbit warranty. It can't hurt to give it a try.
