A few days ago when my battery was low I had trouble getting charge 5 to charge when I plugged it into the charging cable it would not vibrate and show the charging screen. I cleaned all the contacts connected, disconnected the charger many times until it finally started charging. It fully charged.
This morning I noticed the battery was low again 33%. So I connected it to the charger and it started charging. When I checked on it a couple hours later the battery level had further discharged to 18%. Is disconnected and reconnected the charging cable. After another hour of charging the battery was fully depleted.
I then found the instructions for reset and pressed the charging cable button 3 times. I go the logo and saw the charge screen. But after a half hour of charging a tap on the screen does not show the charging status. It just shows the logo and goes dark.
This is the second fitbit I've had that has had this problem after just over a year since purchase.
Is there any way to fix this?
