I got a new Fitbit charge 5 for Christmas after having my charge 4 for two years. First I had problems getting it to pair with my phone. Eventually got it paired. Then it wouldn’t update the firmware, kept loosing the device.
This morning the screen wasn’t working so had to reset it. Tried to update the firmware again and failed.
So, to start from scratch, I removed the device, reset my phone etc, now I can’t even get it to pair with my phone. When I reset it comes up with the Fitbit log of then nothing. Sometimes the app asks for the 4 digit code but there’s nothing displaying on the Fitbit screen.

@LalaLaurenS Sad to hear that your Charge 5 isn't working as expected. Did you give it a full charge before setting it up? I'd also suggest uninstalling the Fitbit app from your phone, restart the phone and re-installing the Fitbit from scratch before giving the Charge 5 another try.
