Hello @SunsetRunner

Your Charge 5 should be getting the time from your phone. But since you've already tried syncing without success, the next step would be to check the app settings to ensure they are set to Automatic Time Zone and Automatic Location:

  • Tap on your picture (Android) / gear icon (iOS) in the upper right of the Today page in the Fitbit app
  • Tap/select Fitbit settings
  • Tap on App Settings
  • Confirm that Automatic time zone and Automatic location are enabled

If Automatic time zone and Automatic location were enabled, you can try disabling these settings, then set your time zone & location to a different one. Do a manual sync. Go back and re-enable the 2 settings, followed by another manual sync. This often will get the Fitbit back showing the correct time.
