Unable to charge the battery for my charge 5. Did all the suggested procedures, cleaning device and plug and ensuring the charging device works, still not charging. It’s only been a year or slightly more than a year old charge 5. Please help. Thank you for your help

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @Lurveblacklab!

Sad to hear that you're having issues charging your Charge 5. Thanks for having tried to get things fixed by yourself.
I'd suggest restarting it by closely following these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:

1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a reliable power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.

I'd like to point out that it sometimes requires more than one attempt to restart Charge 5. So, before throwing the towel, please give it another try.

For the sake of completeness, here's a troubleshooting guide for problems regarding charging:

Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Please check each and every point mentioned following the link above.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.
