Charge 5 won't charge anymore

Recently I've noticed my charge 5 not connecting properly to the cable, but after a few tries of connecting and disconnecting it, it would start charging.  Today though, I've wiped the sensors on the charging cable and the back of the fitbit and it still won't charge.  I've also tried using a different usb port and still won't charge.  I did a restart on the fitbit as well and nothing has changed.  I can't charge my fitbit.  The cable is not damaged or anything.

ive been having the exact same issue in addition to low battery at the end of every day despite being charged at 100% when it does charge. What was the resolution? I have not yet contacted support.

They had told me that since my warranty had ended that they would give me a discount on my next purchase. So instead of having to buy a new Fitbit every two or three years, I decided to leave Fitbit behind and buy another brand.
