My charge 5 fitbit would not charge via charging cable. I followed all advice to clean and press chargung cable button 3 times. Did this over and over. Any advice?

If you tried all the recommended troubleshooting steps that @MarreFitbit provided and still have a problem charging your device, you might have a defective/broken charging cable and need a new one.

Mine did the same thing, I tried all the suggestions on restarting it and none worked. Bummer! I loved my fit bit, Always had good service but I guess they are history now.

This is probably a long shot. One of our users discovered that they were able to get their Charge 5 working again after exposing it to freezer temps for a period of time. Here's the thread (<-- click link) in case you want to read what they did and try it.
This method worked for some users, but not all. Still, it might be worth a try.
